The exhibition Franco Fontana. Modena dentro opens on Wednesday 27 March at the Ex Ospedale Estense di Modena – FMAV. The tribute to the great master of photography on the occasion of his 90th birthday is curated by Lorenzo Respi.
On display is a selection of around 15 works by Fontana compared with works by contemporary Italian and foreign artists, including six works from the Foundation's Collection: Senza titolo (1960) by Franco Bemporad, Senza titolo (2005) by Jannis Kounellis, La macchina del tempo (1960) by Arnaldo Pomodoro, Mollette (1972) by Michelangelo Pistoletto, Monotipo 9-D (2003) by Mimmo Rotella, Senza titolo (1967) by Toti Scialoja.
