Il museo del nostro quartiere, a contatto con l’arte contemporanea

A proposal to increase the union between two cultural institutions fundamental for the cultural growth of our society, the school and the museum, and facilitate contact and exchange, to promote knowledge of the neighborhood and increase awareness of its identity .

The projects developed during the years of activity of the Foundation Museum in via Andrea Solari 35 aimed to create a targeted link with the schools of the neighborhood so that attendance at the museum became a natural fact and the circularity of proposals, information and requests was a constant element in the annual school planning. The museum "put itself at the service" of the school, choosing together with the teachers the works of art to be explored in detail in the exhibition from time to time, designing together with the educational department and, where possible, in collaboration with the artists themselves present in the exhibition.
