- Art, music and poems, 2020
Fondazione participates in the The skills festival - Art, music and poetry,, initiative aimed at promoting an inclusive culture that highlights people's abilities regardless of their human condition, with the tactile laboratory GUARDA! VEDO CON LE MANI,in collaboration with the artist Felice Tagliaferri..
GUARDA! VEDO CON LE MANI on this occasion it presents itself as a moment of reflection on sculpture and the ability to reconstruct the mental image of a work thanks to touch: an experiential journey led by the sculptor Felice Tagliaferri, which starts from some of his works on display during the Festival, and continues with an in-depth analysis of some tactile panels dedicated to the work of Arnaldo Pomodoro.
During the workshop the sculptor together with Chiara Monetti – cultural operator of the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro – leads the children to discover the manipulation of clay and plaster casting, and guides them to create a plaster bas-relief.
Felice Tagliaferri is a blind artist. The tactile aspect in processing and observation is the fundamental element of his artistic experience, to the point that the tactile exploration of each of his works reveals details that cannot be perceived with the sole use of sight. Since 2006 he has directed the Chiesa dell’Arte a traveling art school.
As a blind person, his commitment has always been aimed at the right to enjoy art by everyone, each according to their own possibilities.
