As the artist has stated several times, “the inventive operation on the 'sphere' is among the most important in my work. The Sfera con sfera reflects and represents the antithetical impulses of today's world with its complex imaginative force, which can be read as organic, i.e. human, or as oriented in a technological sense for those of its forms internal parts so similar to a gear. In particular, a sphere that includes within itself another further sphere can be read as a metaphor for the rebirth of a less tormented and destructive world".
