On the occasion of the Milan Digital Week 2023, the Foundation presents to the public "Missione Pietrarubbia", a collaborative team (video) game freely inspired by Arnaldo Pomodoro's Archive. Designed in collaboration with We Are Muesli, the game is set in an imaginary galaxy and a distant time, in which each player must face challenges that require the use of logic, intuition, practical sense and exchange of knowledge.
Missione Pietrarubbia is the heart of the interactive educational project “SMARTSCHOOLING”, created with the support of Fondazione Cariplo: a collaborative team game, composed of a video game and large format maps and cards, based on exploration and communication dynamics typical of the escape game, and built on archival practice as a storytelling tool. Wearing the shoes – or rather, the space suits – of astronauts, the players will explore 3 worlds, in which works and documents from Arnaldo Pomodoro's Archive are kept.
The aim of the Missione is to collect and select – in a word "to archive", in 90 minutes – the objects that reveal the identity of the mysterious Galaxy called "Pietrarubbia”.
