ABC-ARTE presents a new exhibition project taking place at the gallery's two locations in Milan (opening March 27) and Genoa (opening April 17). The unprecedented concept of the exhibition, curated by Luca Bochicchio (professor of History of Contemporary Art at the University of Verona and scientific director of the Museum of Ceramics in Savona and Casa Museo Jorn, Albisola), is the result of a team effort created through the collaboration between ABC-ARTE and the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro.
De-Rive presents an itinerary in stages, through different moments of Arnaldo Pomodoro's research, witnessed by thirty works covering a chronological span of almost sixty years. However, the exhibition, divided between the two venues in Milan and Genoa, is not conceived according to a diachronic progression; on the contrary, in each of the two sections it will be possible to observe and follow the vibrant dialogue between works created by Pomodoro between the mid-1950s and the 2000s.
The vernissage at the Milan venue will be on Thursday, March 27 (from 6:30 p.m., at 21 Via Santa Croce), while the one at the Genoa venue will be held on Thursday, April 17 (from 6:30 p.m., at 11a Via XX Settembre).
